Common questions before you order

Do you ship internationally?

Free standard worldwide shipping from Hiroshima, Japan.

Customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or handling fees may be charged by your country or carrier and are the customer’s responsibility.

What is your return policy?

Because each Obi Guitar Factory strap is one-of-one, we do not accept returns for a change of mind once the item has been used.

If your strap arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at obiguitarfactory@gmail.com with your order number and clear photos.

For unused ready-to-ship straps, return eligibility may be reviewed within 14 days of delivery. Custom-made orders are final sale unless damaged, defective, or incorrect.

How long does dispatch take?

Lead time depends on stock, finishing requirements, and whether the piece is ready to ship or made to order. If you are buying for a tour date, recording session, or gift deadline, contact us before purchase.

What materials do you use?

We work with obi textile chosen for pattern character, surface depth, and visual presence, while still considering comfort, stability, and practical use for musicians. Natural variation is part of the value of the piece.

How can I tell if the strap will feel right for me?

Check the width, adjustable range, and fit notes on the product page. If you want help choosing for your instrument or playing style, contact us before ordering.

How should I care for the strap?

Wipe gently after use, avoid heavy moisture and strong abrasion, and store in a dry place. Over time, the textile will keep its own natural character.
