Each Obi Guitar Factory strap is made from a unique piece of Japanese kimono obi fabric, so the exact same design will not be made again.

Cherry blossoms fall for only a moment, and that's exactly why they matter. This obi strap carries that same weight—beauty built on impermanence, a reminder that what we hold close changes us.

This vintage Japanese obi textile was sourced in Japan. Its exact maker, wearer, and occasion are unknown, so we let the sakura motif, woven texture, and age marks speak honestly. The strap has been rebuilt for music: practical on stage, visually quiet or bright depending on the guitar, and impossible to repeat.

Your guitar has been through rooms, stages, and late nights. This one-of-a-kind strap gives that story a second life.

Past Life

Sakura — cherry blossom — has always meant impermanence, beauty that doesn't last, spring that returns anyway. This obi came to us through a Japanese auction or vintage market. We don't know who tied it, what spring they wore it in, or what they hoped for. We know the silk held its shape. We know you hold it now. The rest is yours to write.
