Past Life

Sensu — the folding fan — has long symbolized expanding fortune in Japanese culture, its spreading shape a gesture toward an open future. This obi came to us through auction or vintage market; we don't know who wore it or what threshold it marked. What we do know: the silk holds its fold, the motif holds its meaning, and now the chapter you write is the one that matters.
